32-1337. Embalming by students enrolled in
colleges of mortuary science; requirements


A. A student who is enrolled in a college of mortuary science that is recognized by
the board pursuant to section 32-1336 may assist in embalming dead human bodies under the
supervision of a licensed embalmer while the student is participating in a course of
study recognized by the college and is enrolled in a mortuary science laboratory course.


B. The board may impose any conditions and requirements that it deems necessary to
protect the health and safety of the public relating to:


1. The supervised embalming by a student pursuant to this section.


2. The conduct of a supervising licensed embalmer pursuant to this section.
