32-1647. Examination of nursing
assistants
A. An applicant for certification as a nursing assistant shall pass a written and
manual skills examination on subjects contained in a nursing assistant training program
approved by the board.
B. The board shall issue a certificate to a person who successfully passes both
examinations and meets all other requirements as prescribed in this article.
C. If an applicant fails to pass either the written or the manual skills
examination within two years after completing an educational program, the applicant shall
complete to the board's satisfaction an approved nursing assistant training program
before the applicant may take that examination again.
