32-1648. Nursing assistants; acceptance of out
of state certificates


A. The board may issue a certificate to a nursing assistant who has a current
certificate or an equivalent document issued by another state if the board receives an
application pursuant to section 32-1645 and determines that the applicant meets the
qualifications of this article.


B. The board shall not issue a certificate to an applicant who has one or more
felony convictions and who has not received an absolute discharge from the sentences for
all felony convictions five or more years prior to the date of filing the application.
