32-2083. Injunction

A. The board may petition the superior court for an order to enjoin the following:

1. A person not licensed pursuant to this chapter from practicing psychology.

2. The activities of a licensee that are an immediate threat to the public.

3. Criminal activities.

B. If the board seeks an injunction to stop the unlicensed practice of psychology,
it is sufficient to charge that the respondent on a certain day in a specific county
engaged in the practice of psychology without a license and without being exempt from the
licensure requirements of this chapter. It is not necessary to show specific damages or
injury.

C. The issuance of an injunction does not limit the board's authority to take other
action against a licensee pursuant to this chapter.
