32-2084. Violations; classification


A. It is a class 2 misdemeanor for a person not licensed pursuant to this chapter
to engage in the practice of psychology.


B. It is a class 2 misdemeanor for any person to:


1. Secure a license to practice psychology pursuant to this chapter by fraud or
deceit.


2. Impersonate a member of the board in order to issue a license to practice
psychology.


C. It is a class 2 misdemeanor for a person not licensed pursuant to this chapter
to:


1. Use the designation "psychology", "psychological" or "psychologist".


2. Use any combination of words, initials and symbols that leads the public to
believe the person is licensed to practice psychology in this state.


D. It is a class 2 misdemeanor for a person not licensed or not exempt from
licensure pursuant to this chapter to use the designation "psychotherapist" or other
derivation of the root word "psycho".
