considerations

The board may adopt rules setting forth minimum standards for veterinary medical
premises and for the practice of veterinary medicine. The board shall, in the
development of these rules, take into consideration the needs, problems and practices
relating to the differences encountered by large animal veterinarians and other
veterinarians and shall also consider the different needs, problems and practices
encountered in the provision of veterinary services in rural or remote locations in
comparison with the provision of veterinary services at the veterinarian's principal
place of business.
