32-2535. Emergency medical care;
supervision


A. Notwithstanding the requirements of this article, in response to a natural
disaster, accident or other emergency, a physician assistant who is licensed pursuant to
this chapter, licensed or certified by another regulatory jurisdiction in the United
States or credentialed as a physician assistant by a federal employer may provide medical
care at any location and with or without supervision.


B. A physician who supervises a physician assistant who is providing medical care
pursuant to this section is not required to comply with the requirements of this article
relating to supervising physicians.
