32-2608. License or registration required;
violation; classification


A. A person, except a regularly commissioned peace officer, shall not act or
attempt to act or represent that the person is a security guard unless the person is
registered as a security guard pursuant to this chapter and is acting within the scope of
the person's employment for an agency licensed pursuant to article 2 of this chapter.


B. A person who knowingly violates this section is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor.
