35-146. Deposit of receipts by budget
units
A. All monies received by any officer or employee of any budget unit shall be
promptly remitted to the state treasurer and no monies shall be held, used or deposited
in any personal or special bank account temporarily or otherwise by any agent or employee
except as expressly provided by this chapter.
B. All monies received by the state treasurer shall be credited to the state
general fund, unless otherwise prescribed by law.
C. Upon receipt, the amount of tuition, registration fees and other revenues
included in the operating budget adopted by the board for each university as prescribed
in section 15-1626, subsection A, paragraph 13 shall be promptly remitted to the state
treasurer.
