36-1624. Maintenance
All gas appliances and vents and flues with which they are connected shall be
maintained in good repair by the owner of the premises unless there is a specific
agreement to the contrary between the owner and the occupant, and the gas distributor as
such shall not be responsible for injuries or damage resulting from the defective
condition of any piping or appliance not owned or controlled by it.
