36-623. Report by physician of death from
contagious disease


Physicians shall report in writing to the local board of health or health department
the death within its jurisdiction of patients dying from contagious, infectious or
epidemic diseases. The report shall be made within twenty-four hours after death, and
shall include the specific name and character of the disease.
