38-720. ASRS depository


A. Exclusively for the purposes of this article, the board shall establish an ASRS
depository that is separate and apart from all other public monies or funds of this
state. The ASRS depository shall be a bank in which ASRS monies are deposited and
collateralized as provided by law. The ASRS depository consists of subsidiary accounts
for administration, retirement and investment. ASRS shall place all monies that come
into its custody from any source in the ASRS depository.


B. Any monies not currently needed in the administration account or the retirement
account may be invested to provide the maximum income.
