40-245. Admissibility in evidence of copies of
documents filed with commission; orders, authorizations or
certificates issued by commission required to be in writing;
recording


A. Copies of all official documents and orders filed or deposited according to law
in the office of the commission, certified by a commissioner or by the secretary under
the official seal of the commission to be true copies of the originals, shall be received
in evidence in a like manner as the originals.


B. Every order, authorization or certificate issued or approved by the commission
under this article shall be in writing and entered on the records of the commission. Any
such order, authorization or certificate, or a copy thereof, or a copy of the record
thereof certified by a commissioner or by the secretary under the official seal of the
commission to be a true copy of the original, may be recorded in the office of the county
recorder of any county in which is located the principal place of business of the
corporation affected thereby, or in which is located any of its property. A certificate
under the seal of the commission that any such order, authorization or certificate has
not been modified, stayed, suspended or revoked may also be likewise recorded.
