40-432. Agent or employee of telegraph or
telephone company using information contained in message;
classification
An agent, operator or employee of a telegraph or telephone operator who knowingly in
any way uses or appropriates information derived by him from a private message passing
through his hands and addressed to another person, or in any other manner acquired by him
by reason of his trust, or trades or speculates upon information so obtained, or in any
manner uses the information for his own account, profit or advantage, is guilty of a
class 1 misdemeanor.
