41-1957. State-federal cooperation


A. Subject to the departmental rules and regulations on the confidentiality of
information, upon request, the department shall furnish to any agency of the United
States which is charged with the administration of public works or assistance through
public employment the name, address, ordinary occupation and employment status of each
recipient of benefits and the recipient's rights to further benefits from programs
administered by the department.


B. In the administration of the provisions of the extended benefit program required
by the federal-state extended unemployment compensation act of 1970, the department shall
take such action as may be necessary to ensure that the provisions are so interpreted and
applied as to meet the requirements of such federal act as interpreted by the United
States department of labor, and to secure to this state the full reimbursement of the
federal share of extended benefits paid under title 23, chapter 4, that are reimbursable
under the federal act.
