41-1972. Activities of Arizona industries for
the blind
A. For the purposes of the program of industries for the blind authorized by this
article, the state department of economic security may equip and operate one or more
training centers, one or more workshops, a business enterprise program, and a home
industries program for training and employment of adaptable blind persons.
B. The state department of economic security may devise ways and means for the
sale, distribution and marketing of the products of the training centers, workshops and
home industries authorized by subsection A.
C. The state department of economic security may, in addition to the activities
authorized by subsections A and B, aid individual blind persons or groups of such persons
to become self-supporting by supplying materials, equipment or machinery to them, and may
also aid them in the sale and distribution of their products.
