41-2803. Director; appointment;
qualifications; compensation

A. The director of the department shall be appointed by the governor pursuant to
section 38-211 and shall serve at the pleasure of the governor.

B. The director, as minimum qualifications, shall have administrative experience in
youth rehabilitative and treatment programs and educational qualifications and training
which enable the director to manage the department in a manner consistent with the
mission and purpose of the department.

C. The compensation of the director shall be as determined pursuant to section
38-611.
