41-2957. Claims
This chapter shall not affect the right to institute or prosecute any claim by or
against an agency of this state terminated pursuant to this chapter if the claim accrued
prior to the date the agency was terminated. Any claim pending on the date the agency is
terminated, or instituted thereafter for actions prior to the termination date, shall be
prosecuted or defended in the name of the state by the department of law.
