45-1401. Authority to cooperate with federal
government in flood control projects under flood control act of
Congress of 1948
In addition to the general powers vested in counties, cities and towns and the
governing bodies thereof, counties, cities and towns are empowered to cooperate with the
United States or any authorized instrumentality, department or agency thereof in the
construction of flood control works, authorized under the flood control act of 1948, to
the extent necessary to comply with the provisions thereof.
