45-1944. Planning

In conjunction and cooperation with local governmental entities and the director of
water resources, the authority shall:

1. Within one year of the authority's formation, develop an initial water resource
augmentation plan for the county in which the authority is established to guide the
development of water augmentation efforts in that county.

2. Coordinate water conservation efforts to encourage pooling the resources of all
operating units in the county in which the authority is established to maximize
conservation of the existing water sources in that county.
