45-2451. First year banking program
By July 1, 1997, the authority shall have used its best efforts to store pursuant to
this chapter a minimum of one hundred thousand acre-feet of Colorado river water in this
state. The annual report of the authority to the governor, the president of the senate
and the speaker of the house of representatives due on August 1, 1997 shall report the
amount of water stored since the effective date of this chapter and if one hundred
thousand acre-feet of water have not been stored, the reasons why this goal has not been
achieved.
