48-1552. Right of entry to survey; acquisition
of property for works


A. The board and its agents and employees may enter upon any land in the district
to make surveys and to locate and construct power lines and distributing systems, poles,
wires, transformers, motors and all necessary appliances for generating, distributing or
measuring power.


B. The board may acquire lands, water rights, franchises and other property
necessary to construct, use, maintain, repair and improve power plants, power lines,
generating or distributing systems. The board may also, by purchase or condemnation,
acquire rights of way for construction or enlargement of any of its power plants, power
lines, generating or distributing systems and lands for power plant sites.
