48-1571. Election of directors; term of
office


The regular election of the district for the purpose of electing a board of
directors shall be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in December of each
alternate year, at which time one director from each division in the district and two
directors at large shall be elected for a term of two years. If two or more persons have
the same number of votes, their terms shall be determined by lot under the direction of
the chairman of the board of supervisors of the county in which the organization of the
district has been perfected. The person receiving the highest number of votes in any
division for any office to be filled at the election shall be deemed elected thereto.
