48-1573. Notice of election; election
officers

A. Fifteen days before an election held under this article, the secretary of the
board shall cause notice specifying the polling places of each division to be posted in

election. The secretary shall also post a general notice thereof in the office of the
board.

B. Prior to the time for posting the notices, the board shall appoint from each
division from among the electors thereof three judges, one of whom shall act as clerk,
who shall constitute a board of election for the division. If the board fails to appoint
a board of election, or the members appointed do not attend the opening of the polls on
the morning of the election, the electors of the division present at the hour named in
the notice may appoint the board or appoint another person in place of an absent member.

C. At the election the board of directors shall provide the judges with necessary
election supplies, including ballots.
