48-1918. Dissolution of district

A district organized under this article may be dissolved by the majority vote of all
real property taxpaying electors voting on the question of dissolution at a special
election called to vote on the question. The election shall be called by the board of
supervisors upon application of the board of directors of the district or upon filing a
petition signed by twenty-five per cent of the electors of the district. If a district is
dissolved, all property, buildings, equipment and other items owned by the district shall
thereupon become the property of the county.
