approval

A. When the survey or plan and report prepared under section 48-2015 are filed, the
board of directors may reject the report and direct that a new report be prepared or that
changes be made. If the report complies with the provisions of section 48-2015 and is
satisfactory to the board, the board shall hold a hearing on any objections to the report
or to the performance of the proposed work. Notice of the hearing shall be given by
publication five times in a daily or twice in a weekly newspaper of general circulation
in the sanitary district.

B. At the conclusion of the hearing the board shall order the report to be changed,
or shall approve it as made. If changes are ordered, further hearings shall be held
thereon until the board approves the report. Upon approval by the board, the report or a
resume thereof shall be published for distribution to the public.
