48-202. Approval of plans and specifications by
the director of water resources
A. When any construction, repair, alteration, extension or improvement work for
district purposes is to be performed according to plans and specifications prepared by or
for a district, the governing body of the district may, if it so desires, make
application to the director of water resources for his approval in writing of the plans
and specifications.
B. All applications shall contain such information and data as the director may
require and shall have attached to the application the plans and specifications to be
approved.
C. If application is made to the director for approval of plans and specifications
for any such work, no person shall commence any such work until the director has approved
the plans and specifications in writing, and when approved all work shall be performed
strictly in accordance with the plans and specifications as approved.
