48-2078. Failure to hold or adjourn scheduled
hearing; provision for subsequent hearing
If the time and place for a hearing are fixed by the board under this article, and
for any reason the hearing is not held or regularly adjourned to a specified time and
place, the authority of the board is not divested or lost. The board may thereafter fix
a time and place for the hearing and cause notice to be given by publication by at least
one insertion in a newspaper of general circulation in the district as designated by the
board. The publication shall be at least five days before the date of the hearing.
