48-2413. Failure of district to provide
estimate
If for any reason the board of directors fails to make and furnish the annual
estimate of expenditures, the board of supervisors of the county in which the district
was organized shall, at its first meeting in July thereafter, or at any adjournment
thereof, prepare and furnish the budget and perform all acts required to be performed by
the board of directors. The estimate prepared by the board of supervisors shall have the
same force and effect and shall be acted upon in the same manner and with like effect as
if it had been made by the board of directors.
