48-2907. Time of hearing petition; notice of
hearing

When the petition has been filed with the board of supervisors and the bond
approved, the board shall fix a time for hearing the petition which shall be not less
than three nor more than seven weeks after the date of filing the petition. The board of
supervisors shall cause the petition, together with a notice signed by the clerk of the
board of supervisors giving the time and place of hearing the petition, to be published
for at least two weeks in a newspaper published in the county, or if no newspaper is
published in the county, in a newspaper published in an adjoining county, and by posting
copies of the petition and notice in three or more conspicuous places in the proposed
district at least two weeks before the date set for hearing.
