48-3428. Dissolution
The board of supervisors may dissolve any district organized under this
chapter. Dissolution shall be ordered only on filing of a petition similar to the
petition required on organization, except that the petition need not describe the
boundaries of nor the lands within the district but may refer to the district by number
or other appropriate designation. The petition shall state that it is the purpose of the
petitioners to dissolve the district. No district shall be dissolved unless the petition
for dissolution is signed by the majority of the owners of acreage of lots or parcels of
land entitled to receive irrigation water from the district.
