48-3441. Board of trustees; compensation;
employment of personnel; quorum


A. The management and control of an irrigation water delivery district is vested in
a board of trustees which shall consist of three persons who are landowners within the
district. The board may employ personnel necessary to conduct the affairs of the
district. Attorneys and engineers shall not be employed on a salary basis, but may be
employed to perform specific services.


B. The members of the board shall serve without compensation.


C. Two members shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business and all
warrants, contracts and instruments involving the payment of money by or creating any
obligation binding upon the district shall be signed by at least two members.
