48-3621. Right-of-way


A right-of-way in, under, along or across a public highway, public street or public
property within a flood control district shall be granted to the district if found by the
board to be necessary or convenient for performing any work authorized by this article
and if designs for district works and designs for highway, street and public property
improvements are mutually satisfactory to controlling public agencies. If necessary to
carry out such work, the board may bring actions to condemn any needed property, which
suits may be brought under any statute applicable to the bringing of condemnation suits
by municipal corporations or other political subdivisions of this state.
