49-703. Joint operation
A. The department may cooperate with, coordinate or enter into agreements and
memoranda of understanding with appropriate federal, state, political subdivision and
tribal governments, and with other appropriate persons, both public and private, in
carrying out its duties and promoting its objectives under this chapter.
B. Each county, city or town may exercise authority to jointly own or operate, with
any other person, any public facility within this state and also may enter into
cooperative agreements as necessary and appropriate for the operation of any public
facility.
C. Each county, city or town may, either alone or in combination with any other
county, city or town, contract with any person to provide any service required or
authorized by this chapter.
