49-817. Enforcement powers of the director and
inspectors
When necessary for the enforcement of this article and rules adopted pursuant to
this article, the director or the director's authorized agent may enter any commercial,
nonprofit or governmental premises during normal operating hours. The director or the
director's authorized agent shall give the owner or operator of the premises the
opportunity to have its representative accompany the inspector. If the premises are not
open to the public, the director or the director's authorized agents shall first present
agency credentials. Within forty-five days after the date of the inspection the
department shall provide to the owner or operator a copy of any inspection report that is
produced from that inspection.
