§ 20-701. Required license.
 

(a)  In general.- A person may not operate a private home detention monitoring agency in the State unless the Secretary has issued a license to the person. 

(b)  Violation.- A person who willfully and knowingly violates this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or both.
