§ 17-417. Penalties.
 

(a)  In general.- Except as otherwise provided in this section, a person who violates Part II of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding $100 for each violation. 

(b)  Montgomery County.- In Montgomery County, a person who violates Part II of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding $500 for each violation.
