§ 10-307. Disposition of claims.
 

(a)  In general.-  

(1) The Board shall investigate each claim filed under § 10-305 of this subtitle. 

(2) After its investigation, the Board shall: 

(i) approve the claim; 

(ii) approve the claim subject to conditions and limitations; or 

(iii) disapprove the claim. 

(b)  Findings of fact.- The Board shall append to the original papers representing the claim a concise written statement of the facts developed in the proceedings on which its approval, conditional or limited approval, or disapproval is based. 

(c)  Records.-  

(1) The Board shall file the original papers representing the claim and all appended documents in the office of the Secretary. 

(2) (i) The Board shall send a copy of the original papers representing the claim and all appended documents to: 

1. the Comptroller; and 

2. the Secretary of Budget and Management. 

(ii) The Comptroller and the Secretary of Budget and Management shall keep a record of the documents sent by the Secretary under item (i) of this paragraph. 

(3) The original papers representing the claim and all appended documents constitute a permanent claims record.
