§ 2-401. Clerk, deputy clerks, and other employees of clerk's office.
 

(a)  Appointment and duties of clerk.- An appellate court shall have a clerk who is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the court. He shall perform the duties required by Subtitle 2 of this title and the additional duties prescribed by the judges. 

(b)  Other employees.- Subject to approval by the court, the clerk may employ the deputy clerks and other employees necessary for the conduct of his office who shall perform the duties prescribed by the judges.
