§ 13-609. Staff.
 

(a)  In general.- The Council may employ a staff and retain professional consultants. 

(b)  Powers and duties.- The Council shall: 

(1) determine the powers and duties of the staff; and 

(2) set the compensation of the staff. 

(c)  Appointment.-  

(1) The Executive Director shall appoint and remove the staff of the Council. 

(2) The Executive Director may contract for professional or consultant services. 

(d)  Cooperative agreements.- The Executive Director may make agreements with local planning units in the region for temporary transfer or joint use of staff.
