§ 14-510. Violations; injunctions; penalty.
 

(a)  Violations.- Any person who violates any provision of this subtitle may be enjoined by a court of competent jurisdiction upon application of the Department acting through the Attorney General. 

(b)  Injunctions; penalty.- Any person who violates any provision of this subtitle or any regulation, permit, or order issued thereunder, is liable to a penalty not exceeding $10,000, as well as being subject to being enjoined as provided in subsection (a) of this section. The monetary penalty thus provided may be recovered in a civil action by the Department through the Attorney General.
