§ 15-316. Fines.
 

(a)  In general.- If after a hearing under § 15-315 of this subtitle, the Board finds that there are grounds for discipline under § 15-314(a) of this subtitle to suspend or revoke a license of a physician assistant or to deny a license to an applicant or to reprimand a licensed physician assistant, the Board may impose a fine subject to the Board's regulations instead of or in addition to suspending or revoking the license or reprimanding the licensee. 

(b)  Payment into General Fund.- The Board shall pay any fines collected under this section into the General Fund of the State.
