§ 8-509. Law enforcement agency to notify Board of complaints.
 

(a)  "Law enforcement agency" defined.- In this section, "law enforcement agency" includes: 

(1) A State, county, or municipal police department or agency; 

(2) A sheriff's office; 

(3) A State's Attorney's office; and 

(4) The Office of the Attorney General. 

(b)  In general.- A law enforcement agency that receives a complaint of death or bodily harm allegedly caused by a nurse who holds a license or certificate under this title shall notify the Board of the complaint.
