§ 13-211. Service medals and ribbon badges.
 

(a)  Service medals.-  

(1) To promote efficiency and reward continuous service, the Governor may issue service medals of appropriate designs to officers and enlisted individuals in the organized militia who have completed 5 years or more of continuous service. 

(2) The Governor shall adopt regulations to carry out this subsection. 

(b)  Ribbon badges.-  

(1) The State may issue appropriate ribbon badges to represent any issued or authorized medal. 

(2) An officer or enlisted individual in the organized militia may wear a ribbon badge issued under this subsection as part of the uniform.
