§ 13-404. Memorial Day moment of silence.
 

Each year, the Governor shall issue a proclamation encouraging the citizens of the State of Maryland, the media, government departments and agencies, and business and recreational facilities to observe a moment of silence at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day to unite in remembrance and commemorate the heroic acts and efforts of Marylanders who have served and died in the United States armed forces.
