§ 19-205. Proof of authority; prima facie evidence.
 

If the signature, rank, and branch of service or subdivision of a branch of service of a commissioned officer appear on an instrument, document, or certificate: 

(1) no further proof of the authority of the officer to act is required; and 

(2) the action of the commissioned officer is prima facie evidence that the person making the oath or acknowledgment is covered by this subtitle.
