§ 9-1103. Paid leave following positive tuberculin skin test.
 

(a)  In general.- An employee is entitled to receive appropriate health care to be provided by the appointing authority and leave with pay in accordance with subsection (b) of this section, if: 

(1) the employee has a positive tuberculin skin test result on a test taken by the employee at the direction of the employee's appointing authority; and 

(2) the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene determines that, for public health reasons, the employee should not work for a given period of time. 

(b)  Period of leave.- Leave granted to an employee under this subsection for public health reasons may not exceed 90 days. If it is determined that a longer absence is medically required, the employee may use other forms of leave to the extent authorized under this title.
