Act 271 of 1990
257.1914 Safety inspection generally.
Sec. 14.
(1) A county, city, village, or township that has adopted a local ordinance to regulate limousines or a limo carrier of passengers within its corporate limits may perform the safety inspection required by section 19 upon request of a limo carrier of passengers.
(2) A safety inspection performed under this section shall meet or exceed the requirements and standards of the department safety inspection.
