257.17b āFund-raising registration plateā and āstate-sponsored goalā defined.
Sec. 17b.
āFund-raising registration plateā means a registration plate that contains a design or logo representing a symbol for a Michigan university or state-sponsored goal and is issued by the secretary of state to raise funds for the respective Michigan university or state-sponsored goal. As used in this section, āstate-sponsored goalā means the purpose for which a state-sponsored fund-raising registration plate is authorized under section 811e.
