Act 284 of 1937
287.131 Violation of act; penalty.
Sec. 11.
Whoever violates or refuses to comply with any of the provisions of this act shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than 25 dollars nor more than 100 dollars and costs of prosecution, and in default of payment of fine and costs, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not less than 10 nor more than 30 days, and for each subsequent violation a fine shall be imposed of not less than 100 dollars nor more than 500 dollars, or imprisonment for not more than 6 months, or both, and the costs of prosecution.
